Mike Prutting is Chief Human Resources Officer and VP IT & Travel for FUJIFILM Holding American Corporation, based in Valhalla, New York. He has enjoyed a notable career at Fujifilm, where he has led numerous, significant initiatives and developed a reputation for achieving results by designing and implementing approaches that “make things work”.
Mike began his career in business with Federated Department stores, and is a graduate of Rutgers University. Mike is known for his strong functional skills, direct leadership style and abiding commitment to both the employees and the business.
Since he began working at Fujifilm in 1996, he has held progressive HR and general management roles at several divisions. Most recently he has been involved in the acquisitions of 10 new businesses and is playing a key role in Fujifilm’s entrance into the life sciences area. He has also developed and successfully implemented Fujifilm’s North American Regional HQ concept and shared services function. Mike has also led the implementation of a global talent management program as well as the introduction of Fujifilm Way Training. This global training effort was designed to provide a common business language and methodology to Fujifilm associates worldwide.
Mike serves as a Board member of the American Heart Association, Westchester County Chapter. He has worked closely with several school boards in the Diocese of Bridgeport. He is the father of 5 boys, which has played a critical role in the development of his coaching skills. He and Donna, his bride of 29 years, live in Fairfield County, CT.
